Ernesto Rodriguez was born to a Puerto Rican family and raised in the New Jersey where he showed a passion for film both in front and behind the camera. As adulthood set, he decided to join the United States Army as a Airborne Infantryman assigned to such prestigious units as the 82nd Airborne in North Carolina, the 101st Airborne in Kentucky and the 173rd Airborne in Germany. He completed 4 combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring in 2016 after 15 years of service. After, he decided to pursue his dreams with an extensive knowledge of film history. He is known as a movie encyclopedia amongst friends.

Ernesto has education in film direction from the Los Angeles Film School with a Bachelors of Science and has studied with many prestigious teachers in Method acting from the Lee Strasberg Institute in Hollywood California.
